UNBELIEVER!!! INIFIDEL!!!

We all like a happy ending for our heroes (well atleast the good guys winning).

But, they do kill off multi-season characters and keep the show moving...

 :P

ok... holy crap. THAT was the most infuriating episode yet I think. THEY KILLED EDGAR!?!?!?! How can they kill Edgar?? It's on now. Who else bit it besides him?

*sigh* .. and they did it to someone I was really not expecting, one of my fun characters to watch.

I loved how Edgar’s and Chloe’s personality disorders worked together. They were a great small element of comedy relief in an otherwise tense show.

I totally did not see that one coming!

Well, we're not sure yet! :) They could come running out with a magic shot or something that will make him all better. It's been done before :) hehe

Just like that, in a matter of seconds, Tony dead!

And now Audrey possible sold data to the bad guys! I bet she did it unintentional, or something like that. Pretty soon there will be no one alive to keep Jack from going total gun-ho.

However if they were going to kill off people, I think I would have liked if they had continued the story line used earlier in the first hour, where people were being killed that knew Jack was alive. That had a cloak and dagger feel that I loved.

The news just said that Kiefer Sutherland has signed a contract good through 2009. So I guess we can count on 3 more episodes. They also had a clip of him saying that with the current terrorist situation under control, the (rest??) of this season will be focused on Jack vs The President.

heh.. we knew this President was a boob. This should be fun to watch.

I hope Jack hooks up Logan to the car battery.

Season ends tonight, two-hour episode.

Think Jack wacks the president?

A bit anti-climactic I thought. they're getting really bad with the time-skips now. in a matter of 4 minutes, Jack went from answering the phone to being in the hull of a freightliner, beaten to a pulp.

anyway.. it was a good season, and I'm definately curious to see how he's going to get out of this situation with the Chinese.

The ending was definitely lame, IMHO.

I had forgotten all about the whole chinese deal until they took off their masks.

I'm sure next season will rock as always.

When they said Jack had a phone call I figured the guys pulling the presidents strings had kidnapped Jacks daughter. Yet when the attack when down I saw that they were Chinese.

I did not predict a Chinese attack coming at the end of this episode. I had been wondering when they would come back into play… but as the season went on I started to think that they might end up being part of the upcoming 24 movie.

The double episode was good, but not the best one this season. I think they had to show the last two hours on the same night, otherwise they story would not have had the same impact... which even combined was weaker than usual.

I am still ready for Jack and crew to take their action out of LA, out of the the Goverments hands, and go global. I thought they should have done that with this season… with everyone thinking Jack was dead, it would have been a good time to crank up the terrorist ass kinking subcontracting business. I could see them doing it now the way Chloe and Beaucanon have been positioned towards the end of this season… but I am not so sure... if they were ever going to do it, last season would have been a better opertunitity.

What about the Homeland Security guy that destroyed the recording. Do you think he will become a bigger villain…. Or forgotten?

I'm thinking Logan tipped off the Chinese about Jack... Logan kept saying he had Bauer taken care of.

24 movie?! First I've heard of it... That would be a long movie! Hehehe.

The best part of the show to me was that when I look back on watching it... I realize just how much I hated President Logan. They developed that character very well and the part was played so well that I actually hate the actor now too.

I am not sure about Myles... but I think Chloe's ex-husband and the Homeland Security lady will be back. I will miss Edgar and Tony.

I predicted bad things when he said "I love you". Bad things always happen to the hero when those words are spoken.

My first suspicion was the Chinese as you had to figure that was going to cvome full circle and that they have a way to monitor the air traffic (as they indicated last season).

I'm with you Cyrus, it will be interesting to see how they go about doing this and why they think Jack is so valuable to them alive. So many different ways they can go about that.

Yes they did a great job! I hated him last season, and when this season opened with him as the president my wife and I knew we were in for a wild ride. With him at the helm the Eskimos could beat the USA. I find it interesting how he was a bumbling fool last year, yet this year the power of the office has made him stronger. It probably had a lot to do with the people playing him… but still he proved to be smarter than I had assumed.

I liked how the characters of Aaron, Mrs. Logan and others advanced this season. Aaron was less of a tool, and more of a person this season. Mrs. Logan went from a mental case to strong sub-hero.
