I recently posted about an adventure game convention so when I saw these demos on FilePlanet, I figured it was a sign that the genre definitely wasn't dead!

Sam & Max Episode 1
Sam & Max Episode 2
Sam & Max Episode 3
Sam & Max Episode 4
Sam & Max Episode 5

I've DLd and briefly looked at the demo for #5 and these episodes seem to definitely be in the familiar vein of Sam & Max. The game appeared to only cost $8.95 so you can't go too wrong...

Each episode is $8.95. There will be a collection set that will come out on disc when the season is done (Ep 6), but atm it is download only afaik.
Telltale have also said they might be doing something on the Wii too, which will probably be a port of Sam & Max.

If there was a compilation of old point & click adventure games for the DS I'd definitely go out and get it.
