While I agree with Obo, I am now excited for the movie again. The effects look amazing. All gonna come down to the story though. As a fan of the old cartoon series I am really hoping they don't deviate too much.

Couldn't tell from the trailer whether the humans and "Formers talk to one another or if the humans are just bystanders between the Autobot-Decepticon war.

Can't wait to see the movie! I hope the humans don't take up too much screen time.

Please... Please in the name of all things holy, let this movie not suck.

Who else had the toys when they were kids?

I had the following:
AstroTrain, Thrust, Cosmos, Powerglide, FireFlight, Slag (Triceratops), Grimlok (T-rex, but you knew that, right?), Bombshell (Beetle Insecticon), Drill Dasher, Bonecrusher (Bulldozer Constructicon), and Sideswipe

Here is a great site to help identify yours.

Oh, how many kids were killed while playing with Megatron. He looked awesome as a gun.

I didn't have many myself but my friends did. Megatron was awesome!

I always liked Bumblebeethe most. Probably because he was featured in the cartoon so much.

I loved the cartoons and I'm old enough he have watched them 'first run'

...stupid GoBots. Who do they think they are! Old Skool up in here!

I actually had a couple Go-Bots that I pretended were Decepticon slaves.

I had a schwack of Transformers. Most notable was Optimus Prime. Never did get Megatron but did have Cyclonus, one of the cool Decepticon jets. Always wanted to get Jazz. He was cool. oh, also had Gnaw, a late generation fig.

Just looking thru that site brings back memories.

I remember having one or two. They probably disappeared many years ago though!

Wow Manni, you have so many transformers! I'm jealous. :P

I can't remember all that I had, but I had the G1 Optimus, some Japanese version of Optimus that combines with the cargo to make a bigger Optimus, all the contructicons, the stegosaurus dinobot, a few of the combaticons, Shockwave with some of the tapes. They were the coolest things when I was small.

All I remember was that Shockwave and Optimus were the Holy Grails in my neighborhood. If you had those, you where cool.

I love Shockwave. The fact that it played tapes was just so awesome to me :)

I stress the "Had" issue.. I have no toys from my youth... they either died at the hands of my Red Rider BB gun, or I gave them to my nephew years ago...

And yeah, GI Joe was pretty sweet too... no telling how many of those I had...

Don't get me started on how many Joe's I have. Note the HAVE. Yep, every single figure and vehicle I ever had are still in boxes at my folks' place waiting to be handed down to my kids eventually.

Stuff ranging from the old Snakes Eyes and Stormshadow, to their newer variants, to that big ass space shuttle launch vehicle base. GI Joe's were by far the thing I collected most of. He-Mans were second heh.

uh-oh...

http://www.shacknews.com/featuredarticle.x?id=400

Shacknews wrote:
Whereas the movie uses the perspective of the two human main characters--Sam Witwicky and his gal Mikaela--to frame the tale, Transformers: The Game relegates them to the background. "We turn [the movie] around and look at it from the robot side," the executive producer detailed. "It's all about the robots for us. The humans are secondary characters."

Less humans!

So the movie is from the human perspective? [Insert sheep talk].

About the GI Joe. I blew the up with spare firework when I learned to play with fire...

When I got my first rifle I shot them (cal .22). My 16th years birthday gift.
When I got my big rifle I shot the to pieces (cal .30-06) my 21st birthday gift.

Call me crazy, but I needed the target practice. Nothing better than a camuflaged little man about 100 yards away.

Yes yes I'm licenced. although only for Greenland...
If you are a Greenlandic (actually danish living on Greenland) citizen you can, when turned age 15, acuire a hunting + weapons licence, when you had training from an adult who himself have training and licence.
Go to a test at the police station and pay approx 5 to 7 US bucks and thats it...
