NT/Authority is a device that will shutdown your Comp with no way to stop the process. This has happened to me about 10-15 times in the past 3 days.

MS has a massive security breach -DUH- and this is actually a Cracker attack on all MS XP/NT and other systems.

If you have not done so I highly suggest you D-load the fix from MS. Look for the NT/Authority update.

That link seems a good place to start with the patch. Maximus has the samething. Thanks Jason for the post. I would of never guessed.

yeah it was really pissing me off. I even did a clean install of my HD and still got the issue.

Then I Google'd it and within 3 minutes I had found/load'd and patch my system.
