I think Cryptic is trying to make this what they wanted City of Heroes to be. Character creation system sounds very promising, and from what I have seen, is kinda like SWG where you can take powers from other trees, but costs you more skill points to do so.

Think Wolverine. Standard melee class. Can pumps points into melee abilities fairly cheaply as he gets skill points. However, say you want to add a little ranged damage to his repetoir, save some points and get the ability to shoot some fire. (Just as an example)

I have not read when this game is scheduled to be out but it appears it is in its infancy. Not likely a briming economy/crafting system but could be a fun title. I'll try and follow this one.

Only thing I am worried about is that this is remanants of the cancelled Marvel Universe Online with a new name. Not that it couldnt be good though.

I wish whoever bought the rights to the Star Trek online game would re-purpose that to Battlestar Galactica. I think that would make a far better MMO
