We have been having an increase in sandstorms this week. Tuesday I traveled to Udairi to help with their manpower and workload metrics for their option year three manpower justification. The sand was so bad that I ended up being stuck there. I did not have any extra clothes so it sucked. Then we got a dozy of a sand storm today. Luckily I have been in the main office all day. The guys in the field sent me the following photos.

That is incredible.

You'll never reach the outskirts in time. Sandstorms are very dangerous...

It's kinda sad that I was thinkin the same thing...

That is awfully impressive though. It would be horrible to be in, but cool looking none the less.

I was just thinking how much it reminds me of my tour on Thule Air Base.
An Arctic winterstorm looks much the same. Just change the color from sandy brown to white...
