Well me having to work all the time can does have it's advantages, Thursdays I get to screen new movies opening (to make sure I didn't screw up putting them together). We usually have 5-20 people watching them so hopefully I can give you guys some kind of interesting info before you head to the Cinema during the weekends :).

Lets see....last week we watched Kill Bill Vol 1. I think most people are pretty split over this. We had 7 people watching it, 5 of them (all my buddies) hated it with every fiber of there being. Why? I have no idea. Just not their bag of tea. Me, I was very entertained and want to see the next part. It has crazy amounts of combat and blood, but it is done in such away that it makes me think of an anime. The more I think about it the more I like it. So in closing I will give it.....
Kill Bill Vol 1. 7/10

Tonight we ran Texas Chainsaw Massacre. I really haven't seen too much on this (on TV/Print) and I'm not really into horror movies so I skipped out on watching it. But as I started on inventory, to my surprise, about 14 employees showed up to watch it. I may have been because there was no school for them tomorrow or because halloween coming around the corner but they all about watching that movie. During the movie I checked on it every so often to make sure everything was okay and I saw some *edit* up *edit*! Afterwards everyone was pretty creeped out and couldn't stop talking about how great/scary/gross etc the movie was.
"A great Halloween movie" Hopefull it brings people in this weekend.

I'll try and post on Thursday nights but as you can probaly tell I will be a little on the rambling side late at night. Feel free to post on your thoughts as well, and if you are ever in the KC area I'll hook you up with a free movie :)

I loved Kill Bill. I love Tarantino, and the plot rubs me the right way because I like those kind of stories. It was the most gruesome movie I've ever seen, but once you get past the first few deaths, it gets easier to watch and a little bit funnier. The humor was great, especially if you like Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, or Four Rooms. Anyways, I'd give it a nine, just because it's been so long since I've seen a movie in the theaters I actually enjoyed a lot.
