I just saw the movie "Paycheck" with Ben Affleck. I loved the whole idea of a reverse engineer, as my friend is a very good one.

The movie was very interesting to me because several months ago I dreamed about myself creating an invention that could look into the past....(in the movie ben affleck helped design a viewing screen type invention that could look into the future) seeing this movie freaked me out...heh....because my dream was almost identical to the movie...and since I didn't see the movie several months ago well....maybe it was a premonition.

Ever read paycheck by Philip Dick? its based on that book..a good book..

Wasn't that great a movie. You may also be interested in "The Light of Other Days" by Arthur C. Clarke and Stephen Baxter, Locke. It's "hard" sci-fi about using quantum-level wormholes first to communicate, then to look into the past, and the effects.
