I'm a Met's fan, but half of my friends are Yankees fans, and the other half are Red Sox fans....this game is interesting....7-8 Red Sox so far....they could win...I gues we'll see what happens.

The Yankees Won...10-7 I think it was.. good game though.

Argh. Hmmmmmm, who to cheer for?

I've been a Red Sox fan for over 30 years. I was Fred Lynn on Halloween in 1975. I've seen too many heartbreaking losses. I would like to see them win it all, just once.

Guy at work is from New York (actually a lot from there) and someone mentioned that history line too. He shruged and said, "Hey, the Yankees do what they do, they make history, good or bad" which I guess is true. Some teams don't do either but I'm glad it was "bad history" this time around!

Texas team?...Texas team?!?....It's the freakin HOUSTON ASTRO's! No offense, but I was really hoping the Astro's would take the Cardinal's out. I live 10 mins from the Spring Training facility for the Astro's, so I have a soft spot for them. They should have taken Clemen's out earlier in the game...

But yeah, GO SOX! I hope they win...and good riddens to the Yankees...they are like the EMPIRE, and the Sox are so like the REBELLION...yeah, corny, but it helps me sit through a baseball game.

Hey man, Houston is in Texas isn't it? I live up near Dallas, so yeh I was rooting for "the Texas team" even though I don't like them that much... Houston's teams and as a city in general has a lot of good going on (in some areas at least). So we grumble under our breath up here when your guys do good, but still we always pull for our fellow Texans.
