I'm at work and I suppose I could figure this out when I get back online but, my question is can you put items into the bank as well as credits? If so how is that done?

You can put items in the bank. YOu go to a banking terminal, join the bank if necessary, and select "Safety deposit". Then you can put items in the abkn and retrieve them from every banking terminal on the planet.

You can only have safety deposit on oner planetary bank at the same time. If you want to open a deposit on another planet you need to empty out the first out one.
