So i essentially made out like a bandit this christmas and its not over yet...I have quite a bit of cash as well as bestbuy gift certificates so What PC games would you recommend.

Note: No MMO im outta that for a bit..and no Half Life 2

Freelancer
Sid Meier's Pirates
Tropico Pirates Cove

Got battle for middle earth for xmas fun game

Yep I just got Sid Meier's Pirates as a present and it is great fun.

Pirates looks awesome. I was looking at that myself.

Freelancer is a great game. Even better with a few friends to play with and some sucker to host a 24 server. We did that bit here at Avian for a while. If I remember correctly, we had a good group going there for a while. Angus, Arindel, Ravage, Vor, some guy Ravage brought along, and myself played quite a bit. It was loads of fun while it lasted. Single player is quite good too.

Hmm, not too sure about the Pirate games...but I did play freelancer for a good bit of time. If you have some extra free time it is also a fairly easy game to modify. I built my own galaxies on there, and created warp gates between key trading locations
