And here are the specs:

AMD Athlon 3200
ASUS A8N-SLI Deluxe Motherboard (very nice)
1GB RAM
256MB NVIDIA GeForce 6600 PCI Express Video Card
80GB Western Digital Hard Drive
DVD-ROM drive

Needless to say, I am a very happy camper right now. I got SWG and EQ2 installed and patched, now I just have to download some little things (like WinZip, etc...) and I am golden. :D

It's really cool playing SWG now, since I can turn up all of the graphics options and still run smooth. It's almost like a brand new game. Who knew there was grass and bushes in there! :lol:

Tip try playing with shadows on for a bit, it really adds alot to the game.
(it looks great, but I've turned it off now as it makes for lots of extra work for the GPU)

I tell ya, it just bows my mind how much better this is. In my laptop, with all of SWG's graphics settings turned down, I'd get an average of 2-3 FPS at the Coronet Starport. With the new computer and all the settings maxed out, the lowest FPS I've gotten there is about 14. Talk about a huge difference. Not to mention that the level of detail on objects and characters is so much better.

And now I can play EQ2! :D
