Does anyone here play chess? I have gotten hooked on online chess lately through a site called http://www.gameknot.com . It's free (premium membership is only 2.50 a month or so and allows you to play a lot more games at a time). The best thing about it is that you can just log in to the site whenever and make a move, and you have up to 3 days between moves. So if I move today, my opponent won't have to respond until 3 days from now (Sunday).

There are also tournaments and leagues that you can join.

If anyone makes an account, challenge me to a game! I am tlaughlin.

Nah I'm not that good... I have a good winning percentage though cuz I always beat my girlfriend

I am not that interested, but my roommate is though.
He seems interested.

Does or did anyone play Chessmaster 7000?
My ranking is 1426 and my roomie is about 1450, 'cause I have been able to beat him, but only when he has a bad day. And that was about half a year ago....

I might do so, but I wanna make a little practice at first.

And.... I am a sore loser.

Lets just say ive always had alot of free time and practicing chess was one thing i did all the time not to brag just im very good ive been beaten one and that was my first challenge
