Don't know how many of you keep up with college football .. but, what in the heck just happened to LSU? Up 21 - zip at the half, then let those ugly Urange Viles come back and win. Just dang. I'm a UGA fan and was really hoping for LSU to give the Dawgs a little padding in conference play :)

LSU started the second half trying to eat clock, and thus their offensive play calling was not as aggressive as it was in the first half. Hell it was probably not even in the same book. Tennessee’s defense was capable of stopping that wimpy crap the rest of the night, and tomorrow, they can stop that crap from now straight on till infinity. So all that conservative offence got us was 3 plays and punt, which equals a tired LSU defense by games end because they are on the field all night. Kind of counter productive if you ask me.

We got out coached. I can’t figure out if it was the offence coordinator or the head coach. But one of them choose to play “don’t loose” football… and it cost us the game. It is one thing to think you can try “don’t loose” play calling. But when that crap isn’t working try something else. We did not try anything else until the Hail Marry towards the end, and that does not count because it was out of desperation.

Young quarterback, Russell, should have thrown for an incomplete at the end of the first half. That way the clock would have stopped and we could have kicked for 3. He is still new, and did not realize the time implications of running and not getting the first down. However his mistake is dwarfed by the BS play calling we suffered through the rest of the night.

Miles is blaming the players tonight on the radio. Nothing wrong with that when they are playing bad. But he needs to look in the mirror, because the coaching stunk more than the players.

LOL.. man that was an awesome game. And what's the greatest thing about LSU losing to TN, even though I can't stand TN? IT HELPS THE BUCKEYES UP THE RANKINGS!! WOOHOOO!!!

Is it true that LSU fans spit tobacco at the opposing team's cheerleaders? I heard some guy talking about this in my class last night... he was from UGA so i'm not sure how much truth there was to it... Go Tigers!

Hehe, but seriously... great game.

And Talon, OSU sucks! And as far as Michigan goes... we suck too... I think it may be time for a new coach... Lloyd Carr just hasn't been delivering on the talent and potential of the team... I mean, how can Michigan lose 6 straight road openers???

We get those kinds of accusations every year. Personally I think it is BS, possibly urban legends from the past. But every year the administration does warn us about taking things too far, and with 35k students I have no doubt we have some bad apples in the bunch.

LSU has one of the most energized fan bases, and we have one of the biggest tailgating traditions in the country. I had a school meeting Sunday night at 5PM and the RV lot was already jamming to music and partying down.

Yeah we taunt fans of the visiting team with our cries of "Tiger Bait", but at the same time we share a beer and some tailgate food.... Because of my construction industry ties, and supply of season tickets to sell for my uncle, I regularly have friends who bring opposing team fans to our games. We always have a blast with them no matter who they are rooting for. I have never seen them get mistreated other than people pointing them out as tiger bait.

On a different note, did anyone notice the new renovations to the stadium? They tore down the west upper deck, and rebuilt it in the same style as the newly added east upper deck. In theory, the 20 year campus plan has a contingency to bowl the upper deck in. It looks sweet when lit up form the outside. Sooner or latter they will finish the cosmetic construction and give us our parking lot back! :)
