I was searching around the internet for any group at all thats still playing SWG (silly me) and came across you folks. Hmmmmmmmm.

My curiosity is aroused because I have played WoW, EQ2, GW, and a little bit of SWG way back when but Im still a n00b in that game. I have crafted in all games although the crafting in EQ2 is the most challenging and rewarding IMHO.

I am sort of inbetween games, I reactivated my SWG account out of a morbid sense of curiosity. ;)

But I was thinking of getting back into WoW or EQ2, at least until LOTRO comes out.

How many folks do you have playing WoW? What servers?

How many folks do you have playing EQ2? What servers?

Doese ANYONE here still play SWG? Is the guild active at all there? What server?

What does your future hold? Have any of you checked out LOTRO?

I love the crafting and merchandising aspect of MMORPG's so I'd like to find out a little bit more about you guys. Anything you feel like sharing would be appreciated.

We started out as a SWG guild. We were huge at one point, one of the largest crafting guilds around for a time.

Now days, I am not sure if any of the folks here have an active SWG account. I used to have 3 myself, hehe...

We have a very strong presence in WoW, with an active Alliance Guild on Dalaran, and a growing Horde Guild on Maelstrom.

EQ2 may have a few members playing, but no official guild presence.

EVE Online has a rather strong showing currently, with several folks in game in that one.

As far as upcoming games, we are always looking at games in the future, but we have no official plans for any upcoming games. We pretty much see how the membership likes a game, and if there is enough interest, we then look at forming an official guild in that game.

We always welcome new interest and new folks.

So..... welcome !!

Howdy!

Manti covered all the bases...I spear headed our EQ2 group, but it was quite small at most a dozen members. Eventually, we merged with another guild. Only 2-3 members playing at the moment (i'm not one of them). We were on AB.

Cherish and Ravage still play from what I understand. There have been different folks following Burning Sea, DDO, LOTR, and a few other expected releases like RF Online...

Hello! Thanks for dropping by! Glad you found us, but unfortunately you've caught us at the tail end of a large revamp period. If you hang around long enough, you should see a new charter being rolled out to inform people about what exactly we do and how we work. The current one, as you could probably tell, is pretty out-dated.

If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask, and feel free to poke around for a while on our public boards here. Thanks!

I think there are about 12 of us in there with a regular showing of 6 or so each night (when I get on after 8pm est).

The game is fairly complicated (moreso due to the lack of proper documentation) in every aspect. I think there some things that are missing form the game in the "ease of use" category, but from my 1 month in there it's going to take a long time to even graps the basics.

The skill system is based on real time...so the sooner you started the more behind you will be. but, you can always get ahead by specializing your skill set...such as crafting/manufacturing. You can't really solo this game, it seems very interdependant. Even with our small group, I'm not sure how successful we can become, but we do have an alliance with another in-game corporation (guild/PA) from the old SWG days and we're giving it a try.

In some ways, it's the game SWG should havew been.
