So I'm not sure what you guys think about comicbook movies, but the new X-Men 3 film comes out May 26th this year.

It's Directed by Brett Ratner, the director from Rush Hour 1 and 2, Red Dragon, and the pilot of that TV series Prison Braeak.

The script was co written by:

Zak Penn who wrote:
Good - X2 and PCU
Bad - Elektra, Last Action Hero, Inspector Gadget
I didn't see - Behind Enemy Lines

Simon Kinberg who wrote:
I didn't see - Mr and Mrs Smith, and XXX2 state of the union

You can see stills of some of the cast including Angel and Beast and what might be a sentinel here:

the main site is here : " http://www.x3movie.com "

The only thing I think is really wierd is that Kelsey Grammar (Frasier) is playing Beast... I mean the voice will be perfect, but still; Frasier as an action hero!? Satan has got to be freezing his ass off.[/url]

LOL! I would have never known that was Grammar if you had said so. Too funny. It should be awesome, and I'll be highly disappointed if it isn't. They've done a superb job with the first 2. Casting I think has been as prime as it gets.

Thanks for the heads up and the links to the site. I wanted to see what the teaser was like, but I could not get it to play.

The last too movies were very cool. Some of the projects those writers have been on kind of scare me... but I have faith.

If I remember correctly, Gui is a huge fan.

Bryan Singer had to take over helming King Kong due to Peter Jackson having a nervous breakdown. He therefore couldn't shoot X3 (which was the original plan).

Oh and Inspector Gadget wasn't that bad. It kinda grows on you once you've seen it fifteen times!! ("This car has two speeds: fast and woah what was that!!")

Speaking of PJ; the other day I was thinking how poor the special effects looked for parts of king kong, and also that Narnia movie.

Peter Jackson better get healthy soon. He has my hopes of making a quality Halo movie pinned to him.

I thought that Bryan Singer couldn't do X-Men 3 because he was at the helm of the new superman movie?

Brian Singer ... Director
Kevin Spacey .... Lex Luthor
Brandon Routh .... Clark Kent/Kal-El/Superman
Kate Bosworth .... Lois Lane

IMDB Superman stills:

Also,
I heard that the Halo film is coming out summer 2007 and Peter Jackson is the Producer. I think that is great news, not only because of the LOTR, but I heard he was really involved in the King Kong console game, and is a bit of a gamer.

Yeah he had a nervous breakdown. Something to do with going straight from directing LotR back to back to going to directing King Kong. I think he spent the second half of the filming of KK on set in pyjamas!

In an interview I saw, Peter said he and his wife love playing Halo and jumped at the chance to do the movie. He says each day after filming Kong, he, his wife, and other cast and crew would play it.

X3 does look good. No sign of Sentinels though. I think they are mixing the Dark Pheonix saga with the "Magnetto's Army" storyline.
