Looks like unless Rom's kicker has a record breaking game tonight, the Rancor's are getting toppled! :P

Can Bossman's RB Clinton Portis pull out a half a point for a come-from-behind victory? :D

How ridiculous is it that my QB and my RB get negative points!

Well, you did score 8 bijillion points the first two weeks, you're bound to have an off day Rom.

The Commandos go to 2-1-0
The Curators fall to 1-2-0

It's our fantasy football league, the AFL (Avian Football League). We just got some Avians together to make a league and now we're in the thick of things. It's a load of fun.

Yup, its not looking good for The Crits this week. I made a bad move thinking Freeman for GB would do anything, I dont think he was even on the field the whole game. I doubt Denver D and Brown will be able to pull in 25+ points but more odd things have happend.

I will be sure to post the end result right after tonights game. Good luck!

You got it DF :)

Denver D and Brown couldnt pul it out to beat ya. Oh well, just pray we dont meet in te post season ;) Seems ive been saying that alot recently.

Week 3
The Criticals vs. The Dragons

The Criticals(1-2-0)
Total: 61.10
Leaders:
Johnson, 20.60
Denver, 13.50
Owens, 8.65

The Dragons(2-1-0)
Total: 70.90
Leaders:
Holmes, 21.80
Testaverde, 17.20
Johnson, 10.95

Bye week really killed me and the lack of Freeman made this week very trying. 1-2 isnt that bad, is it? :) Good luck to everyone but those lucky (or should I say very lucky ;) ) 3-0 teams, you know who you are. :)

Dragon prepare for another win, apparently both Tampa and NYG have BYE weeks next week and those are my 2 defences. :(

Oh man, my QB is day to day and *might* play this week. Might not. Just to be on the safe side I went to the waiver wire and picked up his replacement.

There might be something on the waiver wire that interests you. (*cough*)

Um if anyone needs a qualtiy QB let me know. I have Gannon, Fiedler and Plummer. I most likely won't trade Fiedler, but my ears are open. I need a quality RB and maybe another good WR. I have some good WRs, but I can use one more that I know will be consistent (HerthaBSC I know has a ton of 'em, same with Rom).

I will also be willing to trade J. Rice, who isn't that great this year, but will put up a consistent 6 points a week if not more if you need a consistent WR. Lemme know.

I'm getting crushed. Leave it to the two worst teams in the NFL to destroy me. I guess when they play each other it's bound to happen. This is my last loss by the way. No one will beat me from now on.

Despite the fact that my best player is out, I still stand a tiny chance of victory against the Razorbacks. We'll see.

I my tring to be mean but what happend with the Hawk Bats? 4 players of his didnt make a single point. Culpepper I can understand but did anybody see anything about Patten, Boston or Scobel?

Just wondering if these ppl played.

Also, should we try and send ppl emails to get them back to "playing?"

I know not everyone will have time during the week to move players around but it seems like there is a lack of owner participation. It may just be me though, Im kinda weird that way. :)

Yeah, what happened to Sythro and YeeUb? Sythro hasn't been playing since week 1, but The Curators should be in it. By the way, if anyone loses to Sythro, I say they should be laughed at.

Yeah, I hope Bubba doesnt score 40 points tomarrow :)

Anyway, should we be bugging these people about changing their lineup so that the games are more even? I dont know if this always happens since this is my first season. Anybody have any Vet insight?

This tends to happen. Generally it doesn't happen until later when people feel they don't have a chance, but yeah, this tends to happen. It may require the addition of a "hardcore" league in the future, for those who are serious about it and will follow it through the season.

Hawk Bats still have a chance to be undefeated. 2 TDs and he gets another (lucky) win.

See my message on the site if you are in need of a QB and/or a WR. I need a RB and/or a WR swap.

BBBHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA...*wipes tear* sorry.

hehe, the Furious Noobies do have alot of bad luck. It also helps that the scoring system in our league is a little different from what I am used to, since receptions count but not carries. My two starter RBs are not worth quite as much that way. And that 46 carry game by Ricky Williams didn't bring me anything...

Another proof that head to head is crap - the first place team has less points total than me.

I don't know what to say... honestly. First and foremost, I'm an idiot. I made a great move early in the week and picked up Culpepper's back up from the waiver. The guy picks up 33.48 pts. Not bad for a waiver wire pick up. What WAS bad was that I completely forgot to put him in my line up for my QB. So Culpepper was still my starter and I shorted myself 33.48 pts.

BUT.... I'm 4-0 thanks to a pitiful performance from the curators! LOL

Well this is my first season so I dont have experience with this but I personally like head to head. It makes it seem like your not going up aganst the world, just one team at a time. I can see where this becomes a problem with the points like matija said. I guess everyone likes what they are used to and I am used to HvH.

The woeful Commandos fall to 2-3. Look for a turn around within the next couple weeks.
