Its a fun browser based game...based in the Star Trek Universe...I play it just got out of beta...probably has less bugs then SWG :)

Sweet game. There was a MUD a long time ago, back in the day, called Trade Wars 2000. This is a clear rip-off of that, but I don't mind, because I loved that game! This is much better in HTML than it was back in the ASCII days. :)

Btw... next time you scan me DF, at least shoot me a message! :P

I am Mantison, a Civilian.

I have 4 colonies established.

I have 4 civilian trading vessels in my fleet so far, praying he adds a big trading vessel for us civilians.

Oh, and FYI, I discovered if you leave you ship docked at the starport, it "refuels" movement turns.

Cool huh?

Oh, and I repelled my first Planetary bombardment, some jackass tried to bomb me. My orbital missle defense handed his ass back to him, hehe..

you recharge turns just sitting in open space...I told you to dock so some stupid person would come and destroy all your ships...and then I'd be forced to break out another Intrepid Class to hunt him down..lose that ship build another and destroy his ass

Im currently

Avian Raptor III, Avian Explorer II, Avian Eclipse, Dragons Fire, Khrysalis II ...notice the III and II behind the ships names...yea I seem to go through ships quickly :)

With 3 Planets...
Avian Alpha
Krael VI
Ryrics World III

And the order I colonized them was Ryrics World first then Krael then Avian...I like to confuse my enemys :)

I have a 5 ship merchant fleet, Manit One - Five

I have 3 planets now, Oklauropa, Oklaisis, and Oklatitan. All have dry docks and planetary shields and 20 missle defense stations...

Wish I had more ships than the light frieghter to build.....

Yeah I am on it now as well :), made a mistake and lost all my turns I had left but have a planet scoped out and ship loaded up at sector 1 ready to go colonize it. How many turns does a hyper jump take anyone know?

Completely depends on how far you're going and the level of warp drive you have installed.

I have a jump that covers 569 linear sectors and costs 30 turns. My civillian vessel has level 2 warps drives, the highest allowed for my ship class.

LOL "made a mistake" as in attacked earth right? How many turns it takes depends on how far the sector is. 1 turn per sector that you travel through.

you start with 200 turns thats a lot of jumps :)

but yea it regenerates (Warp Drive X 2) every 10 minutes on the 6's

Well I just started playing and I have 50 food and nothing else. I also wasted all my turns trying to find a planet before I realized I need colonists :oops:
