I highly recommend seeing this movie. I can't remember the last time I saw something so powerful and well acted in the theater (LotR included). It was amazing, and I was very skeptical, as I am not the biggest Tom Cruise fan.

On a cool note, I'm typing on my new cordless keyboard and using my cordless mouse...very nifty.

Happy Hannukah!

And merry other one too :)

Eh...

I thought it was okay, a lot of it was very well done, but it seemed just too sentimental for my tastes..

Another recent "big" movie with a huge star that I liked a lot more was "Master and Commander." I'm not much of a fan of those types of movies, but I really enjoyed M&C and thought it was definitely worth seeing.

emotionally, i completely enjoyed the movie. It is very much the japanese western samurai movie i hoped it would be. Historically inaccurate as all hell, but still a great movie.

I thought the movie was brilliant and couldn't figure out why it got panned. If I knew more about the history it probably would have been irritating but I know nothing soo... loved it.

i saw it in the theatre and now own the dvd. it is a very entertaining movie. i like old history themed movies, even ones that hollywood decides to take liberties on. there is always some truths to the story buried in there somewhere.
