I think I may be one of the first Avians to be able to officially say Happy New Year's! Or, rather, Akemashite Omedetou Gozaimasu! Suffice it to say that I am zettai yopparai and had a very tanoshii day. I am now the proud owner of a shiny brown jacket with a map of Japan stitched onto the back, as well as the CD "12 Inches of Snow" by Snow. Who knew. |

So far the festivities here are ramping up. Looks like it will be a great night, I-10 east bound is almost at a standstill with all the traffic heading to New Orleans. I am guessing it is New years eve traffic mixed with Sugar Bowl traffic. Everywhere go I am seeing tons of people wearing red... which I am guessing are Oklahoma fans for the big game. They must be taking in both events on one big trip. |
