Is this game a dog or is there something wrong with my system?

I run the test and it tells me my CPU doesn't have enough juice to run this game and that performance might be affected. Obviously SWG is an easier game to run compared to NWN.

It's choppy and slow even at 800x600 resolution.

My System is:
Intel pentium 4 2.8 Mhz
2 Gig PC 2700 RAM
Radeon 9700 128MB
7200RPM HD

It should be more than enough for this game.

I play NWN, and your system should not have any problems with that game.
I suggest choosing configure from the start meny and play around with the options there, also check out nwn.bioware.com for tech tips.

yeah i did the defrag (which was needed) but that had little effect.

time to go to tech support. web site first and if that doesn't work, a call.

But perhaps i will try to get more in to the game first, but its brutally slow.

It was running smoothly on my 700 MHz - 256 Mo - GF2MX and 1024x768 !

Did you patch it ?

too bad the software sux!!! My system appear to be too high-end for it and that many systems have trouble running this game. Doesn't that sound very odd to you?

They say my game works and won't consider refunding the game. It takes about 1-1.5 second for the game to recognize that I have clicked on the screen. If their call center software had response time like this game does for me the average call would increase by a factor of 100.

Time to write a letter to Bioware (after I check the forums for any news on an upcoming fix). I can't believe the guy said that...high-end systems have trouble running the game.

For some reason, this game does not work on my system. It randomly locks up and crashes to my desktop from time to time, at completely random intervals that I can't figure out. I was just borrowing it from a friend at the time, but that caused me to not purchase it.
