Post subject: | Help Needed Re: Revenge |
So, I took this supervisor call from the biggest prick its ever been my misfortune to speak with in any customer service position I've ever held. He's a daytrader, his Road Runner service in NYC was out today, and supposedly he lost $8000. I told him he'd get credit for the day of service that he didn't have, and that he should have a backup connection because stuff does break or malfuction, and perfect service is impossible to achieve. I'm not going to put down here everything he said, as a lot of it I didn't catch, and it pisses me off too much. But, I'm looking for something really mean, drastic, and rude to do to him. I've got his name, address, phone number, etc, but not his RR acct info. I may try to get that later, but right now I'm looking for something else. Obviously I don't live in NYC, but I know that there are a lot of you that are really creative assholes that can think of good things to do with info to get back at somebody. I'd make his service permanently unserviceable if it wouldn't get my fired, and I've made a note of his acct that when my last day does come, his service will be off for a good long, long time. But in the meantime, I need some payback. I'd love to have a male on male gang bang/rape crew over to his place, but I don't know anyone that would do that. Any suggestions? |

Well, you could always tell the FBI that he tried to proposition you to come over to his place and sacrifice some animals then force you to do naughty things with him and the dead critters. Course, thats just me........ |

Lol, that's just about perfect. Now I need a foolproof, anonymous way to notify the FBI of that. That would be a bit harder to do, I think. |

Well, I know if I lost $8000, I'd be a little pissed too. Of course, I don't know what he said, but it must have been a hell of a lot to justify the above. |

Oh, he was unreal. He was also very dumb and ignorant, but that is a different story. In my 4+ years of customer service, I've never experienced anything like this guy. |

LOL! Wow! What if you just mail him something that smells really bad? And send it via the cheapest service so it takes a whole week for that ground beef to land on his front doorstep. |

What about companies that send free samples. Give out the address to every company that you can find that does it and have them sent to him. Ordain him as a minister in some wierd online religion. He'll be getting spam mail out the wazoo. |

Send him some legal letterhead that he's being served for a paternity test and lawsuit pending the outcome. He'll be so worried about his money being taken away that he won't realize it's a joke. Then again, this guy probably wallows in his own misery and he could always have gone to an internet cafe or a friends or any other internet connection...you can even call brokers or a customer service number for his online trading service. Don't waste your time thinking about this guy Also [quote="Cetera"but I know that there are a lot of you that are really creative assholes[/quote] Did he just offend everyone in the PA ![]() |

Actually, I copied and pasted the original post from another board that I post at regularly, and that was what that quote was refering to. I edited out most of the profanity for this board here, too, but it looks like I missed some. This is a family friendly board, after all. |

/reminisce_on In 1999 when I was still doing Environmental work I ended up trading as if I was a pro. The crew I was on had just finished a 12+ month job that was 100% prevailing wage where we all had worked 84 hours a week.... then to top that off we landed another job removing PCBs from the fox river which was an even higher paying prevailing wage job. We all had more money coming in then we knew what to do with. With us working 84 hours a week we were really short on shopping time, so it all piled up. With all the extra money talked my wife into letting me try out the markets. Sense I was the project administrator I was at a PC all day long where I working on my portfolio more than my real job. It started with just me investing and my crew watched over my shoulder. Once I made a 70% profit in one month most of my coworkers quickly joined in on the fun. I kept their account info and placed orders for them while they were working in the field. By our 5 month we had a real trading operation going on, and it was great fun and a great learning experience. The president of our company and the CFO were regularly teaching us how to use the charts and they called every few days to BS with us about stocks. Those were good times ![]() /reminisce_off THE FIRST THING MY ONLINE BROKER (NDB) TOLD ME WAS TO GET A BACKUP ISP. That guy is a fool. Him not having a backup yet bitching at you is the equivalent of a skydiver jumping with out spare parachute. **** If you want to give him hell, use his email address to signup for all kinds of questionable websites… the kind that are not good about removing you from their list once you are on. |

or you can place a classified ad for something valuable/desirable and say that people should only call between 3-5 am. |

Well he can't be sure that he lost that, he is a trader, there is allways a risk. A backup line is OK but isn't roadrunner a DSL service? To get a better connection he would need his own private leased line to a good BIG ISP where he kan buy a 99.9999999% uptime garantee |

I use DSL 99% of the time, but, I have Cable Modem service also that I use if my DSL goes down .. sometimes I have to have an internet connection .. not for day trading, but, for work reasons. |

All I know is, revenge is best served cold. Really cold. Most of the time by the time it's cold enough to be served, I forget about it, though. |

Ah OK I just wanted to point out that you get what you pay for. if internetaccess is what is needed for someone to earn their bread then they should have two leased lines, fibers comming in from two diffrent ISPs comming in two diffrent ways into the building |
