Hey guys. I had a couple of questions about Avian City, and I figured I'd ask them here so other people might benefit from the knowledge.

Are non-Avians allowed to reside and set-up shop in Avian City?
I, personally, would not be able to make it a residence, however I am interested in setting up a shop sometime in the future.

If so what are the advantages to having my shop in Avian City?
What are your selling points to bring in more businesses?

How much is your Sales Tax, and is it set in stone or still fluctuating?
Is your sales tax so high that it discourages people from buying or selling, or is it so low that you have no real incentive to encourage businesses to place vendors in town?

That's all I can come up with now, but I'll be back. ;o)

1) Not just yet, but we're working on it rapidly
2)Avian is famous, everyone wants to buy Avian! Plus the shops are all situated near the shuttleport for easy access, and there is lots and lots and lots of choise encouaging shoppers to look around.
3)You'll have to ask Mayor Sluggy that one, or someone in the DI, I'm not totally sure of this myself.

I think the current sales tax is 3%. It used to be 5% but keeps dropping as more business trickles in.

I'm certainly liking the improvements that they're making with each new update, but unfortunately, my profession still isn't in yet so I'm not having as much fun with it as I should be, but I agree it's still a great game.

Agree, the improvements are making the game better and better.
As for AC. You will often find more non-Avians in AC than Avians at times so we definatly get traffic.

One thing I noticed was that my business skyrocketed once I placed a vendor in a Merchant Tent. I had a showroom with a vendor and also a vendor the a Merchant Tent and I sell about 10x more items (same items) from my MT than from my vendor in my house.

I guess people just want to run in the tents and not houses.

If you'd like, you can setup a "trial vendor" in my AC Tent so you can get an idea of the traffic. This'll be rent free of course.
