Hi all... I was in this PA for a few months pre release but I never ended up playing the game. Just stopping by to see how everyone is doing. It seems that you guys continued on as a successful PA after release as I knew you guys would.

Anyways, I was wondering if anyone was planning on playing the next big MMORPG release City of Heroes. Just wondering because I will be in beta any day now (from preorder box) and was wondering if any of you guys will be in it (or are in it) as well.

Hi pyrosburn!

Good to see you around the boards again! There has been mention of Avians playing CoH, and even being in the Beta. If there are enough Avians interested in it, we might even make an Avian offshoot in CoH.

Stay around, raise interest in CH and see what grows out of it.

Alright, I've heard almost nothing about this City of Heroes game. I assume it's a Super-Heroes MMO?

Good to see so many old faces still around. While you will never see me in SWG it would be really cool to see some of you guys in CoH (any maby WoW?) I probably shoulda stayed here and gave SWG a few months at least instead of returning back to EQ for a pointless few but the release came at a rather bad time for me. Anyways still time to preorder and get all of these features Seeya around.

Hehe, I'm not in SWG anymore, but to take my mind of the numbing reality that is life, I'm spending some time in the numbing reality that is Lineage II Beta. (Not that bad really)

What am I playing now?: The waiting game

Trying to get into the Lineage 2 open beta but I am having trouble obtaining a serial key needed to join. The email function seems to be broken. However I have heard if you download the game from fileplanet (in progress atm) you will recieve a key from them. This is kinda unfortunate since I already downloaded the client and now I have to download 900 megs AGAIN!. Oh well, at least im ready to play as soon as I get the key (updated the files already).

I'm in City of Heroes beta right now... you guys should really give that one a /consider - certainly before the Anime-porn-ish Lineage II.

We have some members in CoH Beta right now, and most of the things I hear are not the kind that makes me consider the game.

I watched my cousin play some Lineage 2 and it looked pretty stupid to me. Not a prayer on WoW or even MEO or SWG

It ain't bad, is what I said. It's certainly an improvement from some other games - but in its state now, it lacks content - and is very much level grinding to get more powers and be more l33t. Doesn't have a real plot at the moment, etc. Just a beta - but Lineage 2 is produced byt he same company, thus both of them ain't worth the moey you'd pay.

WoW would kick it's ass, and I don't even need to mention (or plug) MEO again.

In my endless search an MMORPG to play and stick with ive decided to download the SWG 14 day trial to see how it has evolved since release when I last played. I still expect to shift to EQ2 as City of Heros grew booring after some time.

The PA has moved to Talus.
The devs placed a cap on how many cities could be biult and we didn't make it
We then built a city on Talus called Avian City.
