Grats, man! Best of luck to both of you!

Will you be at Western Wake or Rex (if I have your location right, the others are a bit of a drive...)?

My wife is very happy to hear that she will be going soon.

Western Wake here in Cary. This one will be a boy and I should have asked if Aeric is a good choice (but she would hate the fact that we named him after a game character and the fact that the spelling is different from what she has seen).

The choices are down to Alec or Andrew (I'm leaning to Alec...for Alec Guiness or Smart, I'm not sure yet :P  ).

I'm excited and on-edge at the same time. I hope this one's healthy and once that has been determined that this one learns how to sleep. Then we can worry if he has 4 or 6 fingers/toes.

The wife thought Angus had potential

well not really, but that might have been the once she hesitated on for .001 of a second. The name she wants is the name she can't really pick (that's par for the course as far as my wife is concerned).

Going in to be induced tmorrow, I'll let you guys know how it turns out.

I think this time she is in for a 8lb, 3oz baby...any other guesses?

The little one is healthy (so far). We'll have to see if his nose was a little bit mashed.

Alec Michael was born Wednesday, 21 April
Weight: 8 lbs, 7 oz (sorry metric people)
Length: 21 inches
Apgar: 9/9

My wife had a pretty awful time (though it could easily be worse) as the Epideral (pain-stopping method) wore out before full labor came about. I'd go into detail, but I don't want to scare anyone :(

Big Sister seems to be responding well even if she is no longer the center of the universe.

Thanks for all you're well wishes
