A couple of things I have learned. Hopefully you already know them: 1. Inverted Mouse - Each time I start a character first thing I do is go into options (at the top right) and invert the mouse. Feels much more natural based on all the other games I've played. 2. Hover - A skill definately worth consideration for every Blaster/Controller/Defender. Usefull for scaling stuff too high to jump, and has 2 types of defensive aids. 1) It has an inherent defensive bonus. 2) It can get you out of melee range. (where every villian is doubly dangerous, haven't seen a villian without a ranged attack though, so you are never completely out of harms way) BUT, don't bother with speed enhancement to hover, use defensive enhancements, adding even 20% to a miniscule top speed is still a miniscule top speed. 3. If you haven't discovered the Monorail, use it. 4. Run away. Yes XP debt isn't the end of the world, but you can often recoup a ton of Health and Endurance just by "Strategically Retreating" for a short while. They will follow, but just by getting out of range for 20 seconds can make a big difference in your survival odds. 5. In missions use the Map (M key) to make sure you have cleared an entire dungeon. 6. Missions can be exited quickly after completion by clicking the mission complete in your Nav. |

I discovered this with mere hours left to beta! Very cool feature and with instanced dungeons, it is likely in the developers best interest to do this. Great list, Golga! |

Woah, I never thought of that, but that is a great, great idea. |

Instead of Hover, I got Air Superiority which is a melee move. It does a good bit of damage - especially since I am a Blaster with little melee skills. I do notice that I die more often than other Blasters who have Hover instead, but my hope is that at Lvl 14 things will even out. |

When using the tank and assist method, targeting the tank will automatically allow you to target his target. Keep the target on the tank, and you can click on your attack keys and they will hit his target. VERY nice way to make sure you are hitting his target. The Crowd Control guy and healer will thank you..... |

Most of you probably know the Ctrl-Click on a power to auto use when recharged. I use it quite a bit, but in tactical situation when using Mantison's tip (Assist) it can get you in trouble. Remember to shut it off after a fight. You can use auto on any power, but I find the healing powers are not best suited to this feature. |

If you have hover, use it in battle. I was in a group and this guy didn't know that hover gives you a defense bonus. I'm going to switch out my speed enhancements for defense. Your right, real flight begins at level 14, so hover is best for defense. Makes good sense. Thanks for all the tips.. More on the way.. |
