The web is really starting to hum with goodness for City of Heroes. GameSpot proclaims, "It's a refreshingly focused online role-playing experience and is an entertaining, polished game that, unlike so many others, manages to deliver on the underlying promise of an excellent concept." Jive Magazine says, "Everything looks and sounds great. Each power that I have encountered has its own unique animation and sound to it." GameAxis thinks, "City of Heroes is an awesome MMORPG… both beautiful and a joy to play." And Netjack weighs in with, "…all things considered, and with all the factors MMORPGs have going against them in my opinion, I still think this is the best MMORPG ever produced." |

Until all the whines abotu the nerf-bat being swung today with the ninja fix going into the server. They made the mistake of not putting in the release notes before they adjusted some skills (Burn and Hasten specifically). But, I've hit the wall on my leveling wiht my Empath main. Unless I'm in an excellent team I can't do too much and good teams are hard to find But so far, it's a fun fast moving game with some deeper subtley to play. The only thing that may be an issue is when the numbers are released and templates become common. I say make a character that is fun and go have some fun. I've started working with the binds and changing my message text when doing an attack. Bringing some fun to the game. |
