Hey folks. Just wanted see who all was still around and active, and also present a request to our current government officials(whoever that is :? ). Can we get some kind of "State of Avian" address or something? I'd like to see something official come from you guys on where we currently are as an organization, and where it is that we think we're going. I don't mean to be a pest or anything, just wondering if we're still alive and kicking or dead as a doornail. Thanks.

Hmm, I would say this thread belongs in the ATAT forum.

But you are right, a "State of Avian" address would be cool.

The "State of Avian" address is something the President does around the mid-point of their term. I'm at work, so I can't really take the time to research this and tell you exactly when it will be. I will try to remember to do this tonight when I get home, or perhaps someone else can dig it up for me before then.

A "State of Avian" is no longer an official Presidential duty. The Pres can make one if he would like since its now voluntary.

I don't recall Talon asking for a statement from the president :P.

and for you DF, perhaps it might be a good time to try and whet our appetites for coming back in-game. Must have something to do with not sharing profits anymore

Will you be getting back into the game when the Space Expansion is released Talon?

Do you have any interest in playing World of Warcraft when it comes out?

I know, but Angus did say...

So I thought I'd clear that up.

OOOHH NO. I'm not falling for the "Oh but this time it's going to be great!" trick again. I'm done with that.

Most likely.

Well, nothing official, but I've only been in game a month or so and I've seen our activity rise and continued interest in Avian, praise for our products, and even a few new applicants. I've had a great time hanging out with everyone or just pestering Siric in guild chat. This is in Star Wars Galaxies, that game that some of us play.

I am also having a great time, business is going good, I am seeing increased activity in Avian City, and we get praises from our customers. That makes it worth it to continue for me.

I'm around...and fairly active...

I've been doing mostly custom weapon orders and bulk orders behind the scenes. I'm still waiting for Nasiobo to move his shop so I can set up my own in his old lot. I don't have much to do when i'm on, so I don't do long hauls anymore, but I still enjoy it when i'm on.

That's really great to hear from you 3. I'm glad that there is a sector of Avians who are still pleased with the game. For me, SWG just moved way too far from what we expected for release. Don't know if it will ever be what I, and many other, thought it would, and should be. I'm over the bitterness stage I think. :) There are SO many other titles out there that Avian could embrace if the interest is there. Time shall tell.
