Post subject:  AviCon 2004 Moge meets Liro
Rocklar was in town (chicago) this week on business and we where able to hook up lastnight for a movie and a few drinks.
I meet Rocklar for the first time a year ago but we didn't have much of a chance to actually hang out as he was busy with work.

All in all it was a blast! Rocklar is one cool dude and I am very glad we had a chance to hang out (even if he opted to skip out planned dinner and instead ate 2 hotdogs, nachos M&Ms and a soda at the theater for "Dinner") :shock:

But after closing 2 bars my respect for the man returned and we had a great time. I look forward to meeting more Avians and even planning an official AviCon sometime soon!

I get back from a long Memorial Day weekend and I find Moge's here insulting my food choices! Well, I never... :P At least I wasn't the one trying to get us to go to a lesbian bar (and these weren't the hot lesbians on late night Showtime - these were scary! :shock: )

All hasseling aside, it truly was a blast hanging out Moge and I'm glad I had a chance to drink with our newest Jedi! Moge's a cool and interesting guy with great stories and a very varied set of experiences! Everytime I have a chance to get to know an Avian better I come away with the strengthened impression that Avian really is a fortunate gathering of incredible people! How many others in PAs and guilds out there can say that??!?
