I'm a hardcore Science Fiction fan at heart, and I loved this movie. I loved the character Riddick, and enjoyed watching how they expanded upon his character from the movie: Pitch Black, which also stared Vin Diesel. If you go see the movie, you can also view the new trailer for Aliens VRS Predator which is coming out this summer on August 13th, in the U.S. |

You really don't need to watch Pitch Black, because most of the storyline is either summed up, or mentioned throughout Chronicles. However, It would help though, since they first introduce his character in the movie. Pitch Black is a fun movie to watch, you should enjoy it. |

It was ok. The acting was so so but the effects were always good. Too bad the fight camera was terrible. Make sure to sit back in the theatre or you won't see a thing amidst the flashing (am i rite?). But I would see it. The dark matter propulsion is amazing for instance. And this is a SEQUEL, not a prequal as I thought. |

"Dark Matter" as the art team sees it. In a movie where someone gets stabbed with a cup, I don't question its science.
