Did you know the Great Library of Alexandria in Egypt held all the World's knowledge? A long time ago, Scientists found drawings, and sketches of a battery from ruins in Egypt. This indiciates that long ago someone devised a way to make a battery using copper wire, and some jars filled with some liquid to generate current and make a battery. The destruction of this library could've set back the human race 1000 years in technology. We have no way of knowing what other great things and knowledge this library contained because it was destroyed...hopefully we will uncover more things. The library was destroyed containing all the worlds knowledge, and then the dark ages came, and everything was lost or forgotten; we had to start over again, but hey I gues thats just life. We go forward, then go backwards two steps, then fowards again, hehe.

Just think, imagine if the library wasn't destroyed, and more and more people knew about the knowledge, and the battery, we would be so advanced today.
Being a History major, and probably a minor in Archaeology or Anthropology, this just interested me.
