So Im walking down the street and see a comic book shop that I had always meant to go into but just never have so I walk on in and what do I find? I find a huge box of Star Wars Figures each wrapped in little Zip Lock Baggies and each for $4.95.

Well my child inside all but insists I buy one so I begin to look. The Store Manager comes over and says that teh store is actually closed but if I know what I am looking for I can hurry up and get it. Well I kinda wanted to delay my buy and just look at all the old school figures that I have not seen in years. We are talking first generation Han Solo, Luke, Jawas, Ugnots all the way up to the newer crappy looking ones with big arms. Well I wanted to get one so I start frantically looking, I pick up a Newer Obi-Wan and think that will do when my eye spots it, way on the bottom under the Ithorian HamerHead I see the original Emperor Figure. The figure you had to send away for and was never sold in stores, the one with the hands all ready to strike with lighting bolts the one I had always wanted but never was able to send away for. I found it!

I rush to the Check out and the manager looks at the figure I have chosen and for a brief moment I see on his face teh reality the he had marked this at $4.95 and must now sell it to me when in reality you could tell he wanted it for himself. Snatching it and walking out of the store I had scored a true find. As I sit on the Bus heading home I am looking at my new Figure and I realize 'oh dear god I am a true dork!' I smile, put the Emperor away for the time and once home placed him on my desk just below my Computer monitor. Dork or not I now have the Emperor!
