This'll be my last post until the 13th of August. Wedding is just two days away and tomorrow is golf, rehearsal, dinner, etc...Going to Greek isles for a couple weeks. I also found out today that my dad has pancreatic cancer and most likely won't make the wedding. Talk about losing the wind in your sails. We're trying to get his surgery squared away today, tomorrow or Saturday - and he insists the show go on...but he'll be sorely missed. Luckily they found it early (messing with the digestive process, and since you eat every day...). Please keep him in your thoughts. I'll miss the forums and you guys while I'm out, but that just means there will be more to read when I get back. See you all soon. |

Same here, I wish your Dad the best. Make sure you don't get too close to the Turkish waters when you are in the Greek Isles. When I was there back in 1986, there were gun boats that really didn't appreciate anyone coming over to their side from Greece ![]() Otherwise, it was an excellent trip (well there was that jumping off the 100 foot cliff thing too now that I think about it). And Welcome to the club. ![]() |

Welcome back! Not much new on the JTLS front I'm afraid (think you were around for the Ithorian announcement). Info on the new hutt ships add, I think 2 or three new screens are all we got- http://starwarsgalaxies.station.sony.co ... 806001.jpg http://starwarsgalaxies.station.sony.co ... 806002.jpg Quote: Light Hutt Fighter Hutt "Scyk" MandalMotors M3-A Interceptor This lightly-armored interceptor was the first of a custom starfighter series commissioned by the Hutt crime organization (although no hard evidence remains to support this). Rumors also indicate that MandalMotors has reaped significant financial benefits from playing both sides of the Galactic Civil War. Even in the face of tremendous personal risk, the executives of MandalMotors have opted to provide custom products to both the Empire and the Rebel Alliance, while supporting a gray-market of parts and accessories to private space pilots and the discerning smuggler. The M3-A "Scyk" is a very accurate, nimble fighter that functions especially well for base defense and capital ship escort duties. Its limited loadout makes it a reasonable choice for short-range strikes en masse, but its obvious lack of armor make it unattractive for assaults on heavily armored targets. Quote: Medium Hutt Fighter Hutt "Dunelizard" MandalMotors G1-M4-C starfighter As Outer Rim merchants forged relationships with high-end starship armor and shield system suppliers, the Hutt crime organization had to change their tactics. To continue unfettered piracy of the remote regions, (and to maintain profit margins) the Hutts commissioned a second ship from MandalMotors - a more capable, more heavily armored starship with significantly increased firepower over the "Scyk," but without sacrificing too much of the maneuverability upon which Hutt pilots had grown to rely. The result is the G1-M4-C "Dunelizard" starfighter: a lean, muscular space craft with impressive agility, and a generous weapons loadout. Quote: Heavy Hutt Fighter
Hutt "Kimogila" MandalMotors M12-L multi-role starfighter The Hutt crime organization, having set their sights on uncontested domination of the Galaxy's space smuggling and pilot / mercenary economies, returned to MandalMotors for yet another custom starship. The M12-L is a long-range multi-role starfighter with exceptional weapons capabilities and superb defensive systems. The numerous gun emplacements available aboard the M12 "Kimogila" allow it to serve as a heavy fighter, while its generous torpedo capabilities allow it to play the role of a 'bomber' in special circumstances. Due to its flexibility, this starfighter is beginning to enjoy a high degree of popularity among the free mercenaries in Dathomir and Endor. |
