A girl, who is an exchange student on the local high school, has been looking for me, and just me for nearly two months. :shock:
Why? She's a Star Wars fan :D and at the school she has been told that I am the one person in Nuuk, who she can talk to about Star Wars.
Can you imagine. Being pointed out as the one person in the whole city with the biggest knowlegde about Star Wars! :shock: :P 8)
I met her half an hour ago and wow. I wish she would stay in Greenland, but who knows?
Her name's Sara S. and she comes from Miniapolis, Minesota (think it is spelled right, please correct me if wrong) And she is 18 years old and single (wonder why she said that? :P )

You got a point there, but there are three reasons.

1) I am at work. :cry:
2) She could only get up to my work during her lunchbreak. :roll:
3) I am free tonight and she has invited me to her place. 8)

Yeah except for my father calling and say I had to go home because I had to work early today.
But her parents didn't like me. They are here in Greenland too, trying tofind out if they should live here.
Besides Yesterdyay was almost the long talk. Wich mean a talk with the girl overnight.
I have to get to her again tonight, and I'll propably talk with her all night.
And I mean talk talk, not talk deep talk.....

Well I've had my first overnight talk with her. And I have also talked with the parents. Or actually a talk with her dad. Her mother said I was "a scruffylucky son of a b***h". She says that I look like a criminal. 3rd time a hear a mother says that to me.
Her full name is Sara Marie D'Lani (De Lani) and she loves Star Wars (38 books including the 7 books abouth the films like univers of SW ep. II ie. I've got more novells than her :P ), loves homecooked meals, and soldiers. (I have already told her that I am applying for military :wink: )
Her father is a nice fella after all. We had a beer last night and had a talk.

Besides. Sara calls me her own scruffyluck nerfherder. (Ep V, Leia to Han after Lukes bactabath.

First, she shouldn't be making deragatory remarks about your mother :twisted:.

But as you pointed out, in the SW universe that can be a compliment :P. The real problem is that first impressions can only be made once and then you are interacting with their daughter. The fact that the parents are so involved early on seems wierd to me, but I haven't had to date in 12 years.

Maybe, next time you can try to clean up your image a little bit. Clean shave, preppy-yupe shirt/kahkis...

Acctually we're doing fine.
Her mother still don't like me, but her father helps me finding an education.
He has suggested multimediadesigner.
Sound fine for me since it got stuff as 3D programming and interactive storytelling (gameprogramming).

But Sara and I are having a great time. Right now she is busy with school and I help her with the homework now and then. (Although we do something else from time to time.)

She's going back to Canada next summer 'cause of education. She decided that it would be better for her to be a place were she feels home, so I am currently looking for place of education in canada too.
Trying to get some info of were she is going so I can get to a school as close as possible.
I don't hope she is keeping the info to herself to get rid of me.
We have had a short break 'cause she though we were spending too much time together.
But I have bought some tickets to Dawn Of The Dead in the theaters tonight.

Hey, I've got some stuff you could tell her that she may think is kinda cool, and that you are a little bit hip on her hometown. It may not be totally historically accurate (you'll have to adjust it as you see fit) but it goes along these lines:

The Vikings discovered Greenland, hung out there, were big manly men, and generally were pretty bad-ass.

The Minnesota Vikings play in Minneapolis. They are big manly men playing professional football. Ironically enough, they wear purple (not a manly man color) and play indoors to avoid the cold (very non-manly man). But that has caused you to feel a certain connection to her hometown, as you found it intriguing.

Bad news. She broke up with me. That's one of the resons that I haven't been around here for a while.
She felt I was too dominating (How could I do that?! She made plannings, she did most of the work trying to be around me, yup she nearly clung to me (Chandlers exgirldfriend/wife Janice on Friends, but she was much more cuter, adoreble nicer etc. etc. etc.) And it was HER who scored ME!).

I still love her and care for her but after I saw her with another guy yesterday I decided that that was it.
Now I am currently single but I got a new job (finally) and there is this nice girl who I like pretty much. We fit together (I can feel it) like a foot and a shoe, but I am careful this time. Only know her age right now wich is 17. I don't even know her by name.
But I'll make sure that it doesn't interfeer too much with ATaT.
'Cause.. you are my friend and I cannot go through a day with feeling sorry not to attend on the boards.
