A while back I created a couple of internet shortcut files to sit in my quick launch tool bar. I have one that opens the Avian forums and I have another that launches the SWG forums. You can see both files below:

I would like to know how can I make these shortcuts open in a new window. Right now I do not like how they open in any existing IE window. Usually the webpages I have open are opened for a reason. The ability to have these shortcuts open their own window would be a great thing for me.

Do any of you know how this can be done? It seems like if you can make a hyperlink open its own window, I should be able to do the same with a shortcut.

Well hell, I did it a whole diffrent way. I right clicked on my desktop, choose shortcut, then entered:

Code:
"C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" http://forums.station.sony.com/swg

or
Code:
"C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" http://www.swg-avian.net/forums/

I then set the icons to the ones I like to use. And lastly I droped them into my quicklaunch toolbar. Easy enough.

Could anyone make an icon of the Avian logo?

Good question Azz, maybe someone with skills can help us out.

In the mean time...
Don't laugh....

This is the one I use... it is not very good, but it is not too bad when sized for my quick launch.
