I am looking for a program that masks or modifies the sound a microphone receives. My first PC came with Sound Blaster Live, and its software has all kinds of effects to make you sound like a robot, girl, old, young, even like water. My new PCs do not have the sound modifying software, and the old software does not work with XP. Do you guys know any software that does what I am looking for? I need to alter the sound of my voice because everyone is making fun of me in teamskeak. ![]() |

I need to call and chat with you, then, so I too, can mock you, since I'm not using teamspeak for anything. |

He started his own channel and we had good results. What a surprise the guy from Louisiana had a bit of a Cajun accent.
![]() Seriously, unless you can sound like a really hot chick, I wouldn't bother. Even then it would probably just be disturbing. ![]() |

It all been good fun, no one is really making fun of me..... my accent is stronger than I thought. ![]() I downloaded the xp versions of my SoundBlaster software... and all that stuff does is change the sound that is coming out my speakers..... so the server is still getting the pure mic sound. |

Oh well, I guess if you REALLY are concerned, why not do something crazy like talk into a mic set up on one computer that changes the voice, and have the speakers for that computer aimed at the mic for teamspeak! ![]() ![]() |
