Well Cyrus mentioned not keeping up with the games coming out or something, so I just wanted to remind everyone (who owns a Playstation 2 at least) that the next Grand Theft Auto game is being released today. http://rockstargames.com/sanandreas/ Er, "tonight" rather. Offically the stores aren't to sell it till past noon, but you might have found one selling earlier. Some of them aren't even going to bother with the time deal and are putting them on shelves tomorrow (same day as JTLS). I actually went in and put a pre-order in on the game at Ebgames a few days ago, but they won't give it to me until 7PM here. You might still be able to pre-order it there if you call (can put only 5 bucks down and that goes towards final payment of $49.99). Only way I understand they will sell it to people, at least for the first couple of days. Next Month- HL2! ![]() |

This series is single-handedly keeping my interest in playing PS2. Well, ok this and Champions of Norrath (gotta love hack and slash titles with multiplayer). I will be picking this sucker up even tho I haven't officially finished the first 2 hehe. |

I'm in the process of getting all the hidden items and missions in Vice City still too. ![]() "Bard's Tale" is another intersting PS2 game, funny clips, though I haven't had time to check it out fully. I'm like you to though, I hardly play the PS2 but I can last for a whiile with just one good game anyway. |

I love VC, I played it until my fingers were bloody, but on the PC. I have heard great things about this massive game but does anyone have any hints as to when SA might come out on PC? I was thinking Summer-Fall 2005... |

From the looks of the crowd at EB Games last night, I'd say "in stock" would be your biggest concern. The line for the register extended through the store and out the door approximately 75-80 feet. The game was available to be picked up at 7:00 and I noticed that line around 8:10. I returned to pick up my WoW pre-order box about a half hour later and they said the line just wound down. While I was in the store (I was there for about only 10-12 minutes) no less than four people came in to pick up their copy. |

At my EB, there were 300+ pre-orders, they were open later to let the most people come in and get the game to about 11 after allowing people to have it at 7. I had to send someone to pick mine up because of work, but they said that when they got there (around 10ish) the guys told that most of the 300 had been picked up already. ![]() I got to play a little bit last night. It is a LOT bigger then any other GTA game. I think that Vice City could easily fit into one of the sections, and there are about 4-5 of those. It plays a lot like the others, which is good because you can jump right in and know the controls and what the Waypoints mean. This one feels like it is stronger story wise, and the "RP factors" (not sure what to call them) add in a nice twist to the series. Makes it more like you are playing the person that lives in the city. *RP = buying clothes, building up your personal stats, side missions I don't think anyone would play GTA infront of someone it would offend, but it is heavy with strong language, so you might want to watch who is around when you play. |

All I can say is that this game is awsome. Once the GF gets Sims 2 this weekend and wants to play on my cpu the odd bit, I definitely have a great console game to fall back on when not in SWG. |

I was just about to say the same thing! This game is soooo much fun. Vice City took GTA III and uped the fun by 5, this one ups VC by 50! There is just so much content and entertainment, very good for waiting on JTLS. There is a "Terminator 2" inspired driving mission that was crazy! I loved the past GTA games but this one is just blowing me away. ![]() |

hehe. My brother just found out I had SA and now he wants to trade me systems for a couple weeks (he has a GC). Think I just might do it for a week so I can give that new wrestling game and X-Men Legends a free try. My bud has both and they are a blast from what I hear. So many good games, so little time. |
