Why did EQ2 and WoW have to come out so close to each other? There goes $30~ a month. Bunch of my friends are playing WoW and a bunch EQ2, looks like its both for me.

LOL I feel your pain. I pretty sold on EQII and I will most likely cancel one of my SWG Accounts but I will keep one open. So $30 a month I have been and $30 a month looks like I will stay.

EQII is worth it though. I have little plans to join WoW, I think the games will probably be very similar and EQII does most all of what I want it to, so here I am.

I agree, there are too many choices this season. I guess that is a good thing... but it can put a hurting on ones pocket book. I am focusing on WoW and so far... from what I see in beta it is nothing short of amazing.

At the same time I am keeping my eyes and ears on EQ2 because some of my most favorite Avian members are playing that game and just about everything they have told me about the game seems very good.

I really hope both games succeed, and I hope we all get a chance to try them out to see what game fits best with our game play needs.

EQ2 is turning out to be a lot more attractive to me than it has been. I'll likely be in the "both" crowd.

well to good news is that the games are similar in structure and archtype lists so the switching over may not be that bad. You will not really have to learn a whole new archtype systems for each game.

My good friends from back home half way across the country have decided to play EQ2 on the Crushbone server... so that is where I'm gonna be spending a fair amount of my playing time. I am enjoying EQ2, but I had a whole lot of fun playing WoW too... still up in the air on what to subscribe to.

You should play on both servers :)

Will be playing both for a while. They seem a nice compliment to each other, actually.

I will be playing on both servers. My friends are doing the evil (Freeport) races, so whenever I feel like being good I'll jump over to Antonia Bayle. If any of you want to come over to the dark side I'd love to see you on Crushbone. I posted my CB character in my EQ: The Details thread.
