I liked the first one better as well, it that tight focus on breching the barrier while keeping a lot of freedom in the world.

The second one had a much larger world, more things to do, but it wasn't as focused. I mean, you knew what you had to do from the beginning, but in the first half you had no real way of doing anything about it, you wnaderred around, explored the world, gathered clues, weapons and power and only much later did you get to slay dragons and advance your goals.

However the first one had a really cranky control scheme, really unintuitive. They streamlined that in the second part which was much better.

Well... I don't think so. After you have slain the Undead Dragon and confronted the new incarnation of the Dark God there is not much left to do, is there? It comes up a bit quickly without much lead-up, I agree, but I like the plot twist they throw at you just at the ending.

Nothing much. They sailed off while discussing what to do with all the gold...

The addon does not advance the main story, but rather gives you an alternate storyline to follow in a new area, the Builder's Valley. And the game is lot harder there as well...

i thought so to! when they sailed away, it was a funny way to end it!
but it wasnnt that hard in the last cave!

in the first one you went down and down and had to solve a lot of things!

in the addon, can you continue playing your character?
or do you have to start all over?

wich class did you choose in the second?
i played palladin and then dragon slayer!
thought that the palladin was almost to powerfull!

No, it wasn't very hard. But that may be because I explored everything int eh world before I set of, thus acquiring a bit more power than the developers might have expected.

I agree, the Sleeper temple was a lot more challenging (and more extensive as well).

You have to start over. The new content is geared to players developing their chars with the new challenges in mind. But the playing experience is different enough to make it worthwhile.

Paladin is very versatile, has good melee abilities and a small selection of good spells.

May favourite playthrough was with the mage. I just love shooting Flame Arrows or Fireballs at my opponents from afar.

No, nothing at all. The short movie I linked is all the official information out at the moment. Maybe if I reactivated my contacts at Piranha bytes I might get some more information out of the gang...

Dates set for a year or more in the future almost always wrong. I expect part 3 some time in 2006, unless they release it is a buggy as part 1 was at release.

There are lot of good games to come out and fill your time. I am waiting for KotOR 2 myself.

I liked it. Some good dialogue, interesting characters (especially the assassin droid :)), good plot twist 2/3 into the story, has that Star Wars feeling that SWG was missing.

I am not much into action games. Too twitchy for my tastes. Guess I am an old geezer...

Looks interesting I will try the demo once I tire of WoW :D
