Anybody else keeping up with this? There's a Norwegian winning right now. They're about halfway done.

We actually had a guy from South Carolina in it last year. How he got hold of a dog sled, I'll never know.

Dog sled, or the slaughtered shell of a pre-war Cadillac? Leave this to the ones who know what they're doing; norwegians and eskimos :P

Robert Sørlie is still in the lead:

And Bjørnar Anderson (another norwegian) is doing well in 8th place.

3/4th's the way done and Sorlie is still leading. The top 4 are very close though. This should be a good finish.

Robert Sørlie won, with Bjørnar Andersen finishing a great fourth, best rookie performance ever in Iditarod.

It was a close finish, top four came in within 1hr 10mins of each other, which is not alot considering they've been running for almost 10 days (9days 18hrs)

Robert and Bjørnar picked dogs from the same pool, with Robert picking first, but next year Bjørnar gets first pick, so it'll be exciting to see his performance then :D
