He needs to redo EpI with new dialogue. The Maul fight and the podrace are the only things I can bare to watch in that movie. Say no to 3D, say yes to EpV-type dialogue.

You misunderstand. I mean the very first one - Episode 4, A New Hope - released in 1977

That's kinda cool and it explains your choice of name, as in "living behind the..."

I'd say.

Moon. That doesn't make it any better at all.

The original trilogy is far better than the two new episodes.

Video, special edition, wide screen (as wide as you can get with a 14" TV)

Now I'm beginning to sound like a real hillbilly

I've always been more of a bookworm and due to my short attention span, I generally fall asleep watching films.

I've also watched 2001, 2010 and all of the Lord of the Rings films (extended versions apart from the last one) for the first time over the past few weeks, as I've been off work due to ill-health.

I'm very surprised I managed to stay awake for 2001  Apparently, I need to read the book to fully appreciate the story.

Is it worth me watching the Babylon 5 films after I'm done with Star Wars?

Yes, you definately need to read the book. There are concepts that the film tries to portray (especially near the end) which don't actually make sence as you watch it but are better described in the book. I would recommend reading the entire series (2001, 2010, 2061 and 3001). It also helps to have some scientific understanding but it's not necessary for enjoyment of them.
