...EverQuest was highly successful in its time, and I tried to like it, but it was incredibly clunky, and boring. You spent the first 10 hours killing rats and snakes and other low-level creatures to gain experience.

This is not the case with World of Warcraft (WoW). As with almost every Blizzard title, the game is highly polished, has an intuitive interface, and is simply beautiful to look at and listen to...

Heh, the other day my friend who has relapsed from WoW to SWG showed me his cool new ship and the furniture he put on his SoroSuub luxury yacht. The thing I thought most of the time is: "Wow, this is interface is really ugly and clunky" my other thoughts were "It really takes a long time to get places even with the space expansion" and "This is so slow paced."

Only once when he got into a crowd at the space port I thought "WoW sure could use that level of charatcer customization, those toons look really different".

probably not going back, but trying to lure his friend into Avian :)
