As proof of point, one of the first EU legislations was that all bananas sold within the EU must be straight. This was actually passed, but uniformly ignored!

The reason you got fooled was because stupidity on this magnitude really does show up. Don't feel bad, it's better to have an accepting nature and believe a few more of these stories, then to deny these stories and others that really are true. |
