Ok this is lame. The Arctic Cooling Silencer Rev3 specifically says it is compatible with the Radeon 9800 Pro however the power plug on the Rev 3 is 2-pin and the Radeon Card is 3-pin.

I have read dozens on threads, posts and reviews and nothing says anything about this. How can this be.

How do I work around this issue.

Of course I get the one with the issue. literally 100 reviews and no one mentions this. Everyone says Great and Easy Install...blah blah blah...oh yeah lets not mention the damned power cable not working!.

well I found a few threads on this topic. Most said to just splice a 2pin into a 3 pin connector and leave the yellow unplugged. The Yellow is the fan regulator.
I wasn't about to do this so I just connected the 2 pin directly into the 3 pin slot being sure to match up the red and black wires correctly. The unit has a toggle switch that goes into the second PCI slot I have it on 'silent' mode now. The other setting is High.

All seems to be working, just realy kinda sucks that nothing is mentioned in any of the reviews especially since it does specifically say compatible with Radeon 9800 pro.

It's working now so I guess all is well enough.
