I haven't seen anything dazzling yet (its still early) but I wanted to create a thread so we can all post the cool stuff that comes streaming out of the E3 coverage this and the following weeks.

Games I am really interested in:
- Lord of the Rings Online
- Call of Duty 2
- Age of Empires 3

More to come in the days to come...

Here's my "hot list" for stuff coming to PC after watching some E3 coverage:

- AOE3
- Battlefield 2 (OMG this one is gonna be awsome)
- Call of Duty 2
- Star Wars: BAttlefront 2 (expanded flying vehicles = good times to me)
- Spore (hadn't heard anything about this before but my god, Will Wright is a sheer genius for gameplay dynamics)

Previews of all of these can be found at IGN.com or Gamespy.com

I think there's definitely stuff coming down the pipe to let Avian expand to new games.

AOE3 looks great, I'm excited to see what new stuff they've thought of.

Any new Star Wars game will rock, though I hope they add a bit more to Battlefronts... I'm not a huge fan of vehicles (I always crash), though I think a cool stealth game or some fun droid pets would be neat.

Spore is going to be amazing, I'm hoping to make Spore: II. My working title: "War!"

Spore does look cool...i saw that Empire at War got pushed to 1Q 2006 :/

looks like Empire Earth 2 and Rome: Total War will be occupying my non-MMO playing longer than I thought...

BF 2. Can't wait.

Spore - Will Wright thought process is so vastly different than any other game designer it's astonishing. This "game" looks awesome. I can't wait to try it out!

Any Warhammer fans out there? I saw on gamespy that a new Warhammer MMO is going to be developed by the folks that did Dark Age of Camelot. If done right that would be really cool.

God and Heroes - interesting mix of MMO and RTS elements. Set in Rome with all the Mythology that goes with it. Good preview on Gamespy.

And here's the games website.

http://spore.ea.com/

Not much there yet, but gives you a quick overview.

Gamespy reports that Battlefiled 2 is still scheduled for a June release (not sure exactly what week but that's not too important). What is important is generating some Avian hype here and mabe getting a BF2 wing. Given our cooperation in other games to this point I think we could get a fun and dependable group of peeps together for some warfare goodness. Seems to be at least a couple here as excited about it as I am.

Sounds good to me. It's only a month away, so we should get something going.

Another game on the horizon that is perking my interest is City of Villans. Been reading more about it and the idea of Super Groups being able to create completely modifiable super bases, complete with defenses, hospitals, teleports, etc. is mind-boggling.

Anyone else been reading about this title or even play City of Heroes? Would love to get some further trusted info about the original's gameplay value and fun factor.

I also read that CoV is a complete standalone game from CoH, which means you wouldn't necessarily have to uy both to get into all sorts of villanous treachery. CoV will have its own distinct zones and missions but you would not be able to visit specific CoH locations without buying that title as well. There will be a "demilitarized" zone kind of idea in the middle, however, for all sorts of bru-ha-has to develop. And again PvP is completely optional but I think the idea of raiding and defending super bases is a HUGE encouragement towards the PvP aspect of the game.

I will be following this one closely in the months to come.

I had a ton of fun in City of Heroes.. got up to around level 20 (Flying is such a blast).

It finally got a bit repetitive for me... no smart enemies, too much emphasis on Teh Grind.

I love some of the ideas in CoV. One of the old Villian Super Power ideas (not sure if they're still going to have this) is to turn a Hero's uniform color temporarily another color (think Superman with a Pink Cape! :) ). That might be exactly what the game needs.

I think Cetera was playing, as well...

I agree that this is one to keep an eye on.
