Hello all Avians!! Its been awhile since Ive had a chance to stop by. I dont know how many new people are here and how many old remember me but I at one point was Section 7's SD and DD. The army life can take away a lot of your time, especially here in Korea. I dont have much time to be in a game but Im going to try and stop by here a little more frequently. Heres what Ive had to deal with Im in Korea (Already a bad thing) then I volunteered to stay here an extra year  Im not allowed to drive, I have a curfew every night, my standard work hours have been 0600-1800 6 days a week (I work on Chinook helicopters), and with the limited amount of free time I have Im getting married next month, and I was able to get a DVD copy of SW3 a day before the movie came out :D . Enough about me hows Avian doing, people were debating on whether or not Avian should be a 1 game PA or not when I left it looks like its not anymore, and it appears that not many people are playing SWG anymore. What all games are being played? I see im in the inactive section so theres not much talking or section unity there (go figure), are there still sections? if so are there 7 or 9 it got changed to 7 when I left has it changed since then? Well, I have to get going I actually get a 4 day weekend instead of a 1 day because of memorial day :D

I just previewed my post, I might need to update my signature.

Hey buddy, welcome back!!

I gre up as an Army brat in Korea... spend 13 years there. You're right, it's a hard place at times. I spent half of my time there liking it, the other half hating it. It's a lot worse on the full time military members... most of my buddies while I was in HS were the privates and other brand new soldiers.

Congrats on getting married, though!

Good to see you poking around!

Yeah, definitely are a multi-gaming PA now. Many members signed up for WoW and continue to play it, a few signed up for EQ2 and are playing that, and there's been a small resurgence of interest in SWG with expansions, updates, and the combat revamp.

There's some interest in future MMO's like MEO, LoTR Online, etc as well as non-MMO's like Spore, Empire at War, and others...

Congrats on getting married.

Hey fella !
Good to see you hop in here, indeed.

Avian is doing well, I think, though I must admit I'm not active on our WoW PvE server.
What do you do on Chinooks ? I'm interested really :)

and grats on getting married.

Farewell

Im a 15U a chinook repairer if a part gets broke I take it off and then send that part away to get fixed or put on a new one. Right now Im on phase maintenance which is an overhaul of the entire aircraft almost everything is removed and inspected then fix all the faults then put it back together. Right now I am on what people loving call Books B!tc# every screw every bolt every piece of lockwire removed I have to write down and I have to coordinate between all the shops like sheet metal, prop and rotor, Powerplant(engine) etc. and have them fix all the problems while still documenting everything they do in duplicates!! I get a bit stressed out at times but it keeps me on my toes. I'll stop by again I have a meeting to see an apartment.

Hey! Another Sec 7 coming to life again!

Welcome back and best of luck on your impending doo...err wedding!

PS: it's sounds likely that I'll be making a trip to Korea later this year. Not sure where I'll be exactly other than a US Air Force base - maybe I'll be within hollerin' distance of ya!

OMG Bas!!!!

Welcome back buddy!!! I thought you were one of the others that kinda just faded away. Great hearing from ya again.

AS was mentioned, we're definitely a multi-game PA now with a heavy number into all the WoW goodness. I personally wasn't interested in it until like 2 weeks before its release and now I can proudly say I have an addiction. :D Went back to SWG for 1 month to check out the combat upgrade and ensure K'Rynn stayed alive should I ever go back full time but it didn't pan out. WoW was just too much fun for me to leave.

Hope to hear from ya more soon and congrats on the wedding!!
