I recreated an account, because for whatever reasons I can't login with my old one. There goes the memory of me being an oldtimer...oh, well.

You guys being one of the nicest people I've ever gamed with, I just wanted to say hello. At a time I wondered about playing WoW with you but the damned Blizzard policy on localised servers and my wife (yep, did married between gaming sessions :) ) have me now playing a 60 dwarf warrior on the european servers.

I'm pleased to see many old faces are still there from the old pre-swg days. I expect to one day be able to meet you someplace on the internet again, I'm sure some of you will want to try some autoassault one day. :) Good complement to a true MMO imho. I'm not planning to come back to SWG anytime soon, as I gather the smuggler revamp is still due...

Well, enough from me, let me know how all of you are doing. :)

OMG!!! Sluggy!!!! Nice to hear from ya buddy. I thought you were another of the ones that kinda faded from our little existence online.

First and foremost, congrats on the marriage!! :D

Other than that things are going great here in Avian. Lots of old faces still around in both WoW and SWG (more in WoW) and a lot of new ones that have joined the family. Still as great as ever.

One and btw, we have some Euri Avians all playing on a server together. Can't recall which specific one, but its listed somewhere in here. I'm sure they'd love to see ya in game again.

Again, good to hear from ya!!

Sluggy! Damn, dude... I thought you were gone for good.

Smuggler Revamp... well, in about 6 weeks (ugh) we're due to get the first part of it, a completely overhauled slicing system. Some time after that we get the rest, a new Smuggling system, as well as a Spice overhaul. It seems we won't be crafting Spice anymore, we'll be smuggling it, and we can skim some off the cargo for our own use or to sell. All in all, it sounds like it's gonna be nice, it's just a matter of waiting a bit. You may want to keep tabs on things here, and I'll let you know how things are progressing.

It's nice to see you back. Obo can probably reactivate your old name.

Don't be a stranger!

Bonjour! Ca va? :D

I was wondering when you were going to come back and visit us!

Like the others have said, congrats on the marriage, enjoy it! Obo will be able to reactivate your account (or reset the password or whatever!). Which is a shame 'cause I'm fast approaching your post count!

SWG is getting more and more fun by the day, I think you'll like all the changes (and there's probably been a lot of changes since you left!). As Angus said, the smuggler revamp is on the way. All in all, they're going in the right direction!

Sluggy!

Damn! It's about time.

SWG has changed so much since you last played, I think when you finally do go back to it you will be surprised. However I hope you don't wait for that to come back to Avian.

Good to hear about the marriage. There's a handful of us in the newlywed club.

Well I'll be a monkey's uncle.......

My old smuggler friend returns... just goes to show, you can't keep a good bothan down... even if they do have obscenely large ears....

Congratulations on the marriage my friend... that is indeed great news.

I hope to see you lurking around here more in the future.. you have been missed.

Well, I don't plan an ingame return for now, as I'm quite deeply involved in WoW and actually enjoy it, as my guild has the means to go to MC and the like. We've killed the first four bosses so far so I want to stay there.

That said, if ever a game that doesn't require a heavy time investment is released and some avians are in, I'll gladly try that. That's why I spoke of Autoassault, I have enjoyed most NCSoft games so far except LII, and I have played car battles simulation games since...er...a long time. Anyone remember Battle Cars? :) My first 8 sided die. :)

I see some things have changed...Mantison for President. Congratulations old buddy, on getting President with such small ears.

Heh.. if you knew everything he's put up with, you wouldn't be congratulating him. :P Welcome back, old timer. Good to see you again, and stick around for a while. We've made some changes here and there, and we could use an experienced hand around here. :)

Hey Sluggy, good to see you around here again. Contratz on the wife, does she play? My wife plays more WoW than I do.

Don’t fret the account/old-timer thing. I got my post count nerfed so I'm in the same boat as you. I guess we appear less seasoned than we actually are. Let our enemies underestimate us to their own detriment!

Good to hear from you again!

Oh, the memories just come flooding back from a time I almost forgot when SWG was still only in our heads and Avian ruled the world.

(Congrats on the marriage too)

Heh, don't talk about that, SWG was actually the game that disappointed me the most. Expectations were maybe too high, but after all the work done in beta, the rushed release and the departure of Raph Koster, I almost felt betrayed. :(

I'll likely never try it back, Jedi madness and all. What has become of Jedi being "very, very, very, very very rare"???

SWG is a great game but a betrayal of StarWars. Ok, even GL is kinda a betrayer of Starwars nowadays.

On the other hand, when I go read the SWG forums its nostalgia taking over...

Hmm, do jedi mind tricks work on French people? Let's try it and see:

Hey Sluggy-

I thought I had chimed in here to say, "Hello".
Gratz on the marriage, now when are you going to start raising some future Avians and Gamers ;).

Also, excellent choice on remaining in WOW, don't be tempted by the allure of riding a vehicle in space. Not sure what happened to yak, I thought he was a genius...

I think you're the only one who thinks that... I'm pretty slow at times. I do confess that I was on the phone with a client during much of the space craziness.

But, then again, I got a great multi-million criedit vehicle for just walking onto a corvette and not taking a single shot. And, I'd like to see anyone else figure out how to float in orbit. :) I guess I'm just really good at breaking things.

Nice try, but other voices say "Hey don't forget we try Majordomo next week". ^^
;)

Although I cna honestly say I'd wish they make something out of SWG...
