how do I remove this virus?

Just bought a new harddrive and have only xp installed. While I was downloading some windows updates I got a message that due to some error I had to restart my computer. This happened a few more times so I decided to run a virus scan.
I used Trend Micro Housecall and it found 4 virus.

The virus is called
worm agobot.aps
and
worm agobot.gen

I couldnt clean or delete these two files since they are currently in use.
Any idea how to get rid of them? It might be those that crashed my comp last time, but they apparently survived my change of HD....

Trend has the following instructions on how to remove it, have you tried them?
