Ok, here goes. I think this one is substantially easier. What number am I thinking of: Rev. Smith revealed that there were four factors in capturing the triangular animal. I don't think I'll have to give any additional clues. This first clue has 4 points of support for the answer. |

12? 4 x 3 (the number of sides in a triangle)? I'm daft. |

81? I am not sure because you stated 4 points of support, but I only see 3 there. |

![]() I'll go with 6. Hmm, 6 or 24 would be your best guesses, but they are both incorrect. |

666 would be too easy? it consists of four prime factors (2, 3, 3, 37) 666 is also a triangular number Rev Smith. I got the association to the number of the beast from that reference...but there might be other stuff hidden in that clue as well. |

There were a lot of guesses before yours! The four points were: 1. 4 Prime Factors, as Kyp mentioned 2. A triangular numbers as Kyp mentioned 3. Rev. revealed ... the animal. (ie. 666 is the number of the beast as mentioned in Bible in Revelations) as Kyp mentioned 4. 666 is a Smith Number Good work! |

But what is a Smith number? EDIT: found it on mathworld (6 + 6 + 6) = 2 + 3 + 3 + (3 + 7) = 18 sum of digits of 666 and sum of digits of its primes is the same: 18. |

I'll think about what I could do, but hey, why don't you give it a shot? Nothing says I have to be the only one dreaming these up! |
