Hmmm... Might be interesting from a Station Pass point of view. I've wanted to try MxO, though not enough to pay too much for it.... this might making it easier to justify dablling with.

see, this is bad and good i guess. i quit MxO just 1 month after release. but, since it is in the station pass now, and since i really want to play planetside, AND since i wouldnt mind playing SWG with you guys for a bit to see the changes, i may, just maybe....play all of them now.

Well, the good news is, SOE is not taking over full control. They are only managing the maintenance and support. From what I've read the designers will still be producing the major content additions. I would assume that they will also help SOE with the bigger bugs, but SOE is taking on a number of their employees for that purpose.

but if they take some of their employees to work on the MxO, wouldn't mean that some of the other games, like SW:G and planetside would suffer a little on the support and maintenance?

The bad news being, I don't see what the matrix license can bring to the MMO genre. I didn't even go watch the final movie btw. the firts one was a blast , the second was a "don't go see the third".
